Insurely is now Anessa

We outgrew our name.

Rolling green mountains under a pale sky.
A wave breaking on a dark blue sea.

We're building the financial data layer for Europe

When we founded Insurely in Stockholm in 2018, insurance was our starting point, and our name made sense.

But the problem we were solving turned out to be much bigger.

Today, our infrastructure connects financial institutions to customer-consented data across investments, pensions, savings, insurance, loans and bank accounts. We structure and standardise that data so it can power better financial products, customer experiences, advice and AI.

Our old name described where we started. Anessa reflects where we're going.

What this means for customers

New name. Same infrastructure

Anessa builds on the technology, infrastructure and experience developed under Insurely since 2018.

For existing customers, the transition is designed to be straightforward. The products and infrastructure you use today will continue, while the new brand gradually replaces Insurely across our website, products, documentation and communications.

We'll communicate any practical changes directly to affected customers.

More than a new name

Insurely built the infrastructure to access financial data. Anessa builds on that foundation to make financial data more connected, understandable and useful.

We're expanding our coverage across Europe, connecting more providers and markets. We're going beyond data access to structure, standardise, validate and enrich financial information, giving businesses a clearer picture of their customers' financial lives.

And we're building for what's next: a generation of financial products, services and AI experiences that can understand customers' financial situations without asking them to start from scratch.

Anessa isn't just a new identity. It's the next step in building Europe's financial data layer.

Why did Insurely change its name?

We started with insurance data in 2018. Since then, we've expanded into investments, pensions, savings, loans and bank account data, as well as new ways to use financial data in digital services and AI. Anessa better reflects the breadth of what we do today.

I was asked to share my financial data through Anessa. What is it?

Anessa, formerly Insurely, is the service the company you’re using relies on to retrieve your financial information from your providers. It only happens with your consent, and the company only sees what you agreed to share.
